Support Our Mission To Provide Excellent Therapist Training In The Treatment Of Children, Adolescent, and Youth Mental Health!

1 in 5 children and youth will experience mental illness, and currently 28,000 are waiting for treatment. Meanwhile,
there is one psychotherapist for every 1,300 people, and of those therapists, many do not have the specialized training necessary to work with our young people.

Our goal is to train 100 graduates by 2030. To meet this ambitious and important goal, we need your support today.

Support our training program to meet our fundraising goal and help our community in need. No donation is too big or small! We depend on the support of our generous donors.

If you are interested in getting involved with our fundraising efforts, contact us at info@cicapp.caWe keep our administration costs low, so your donation directly supports the important work our training therapists do in our communities.

ABOUT US

Founded in 1975, the Canadian institute for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (CICAPP) provides training in the theory and technique of psychoanalytic psychotherapy for professionals working with children, adolescents, and youth. Candidates are trained to assess for normal functioning and psychopathology and to conduct psychotherapy. The training qualifies graduates to consult, supervise, and teach in agencies concerned with child, adolescent, and youth mental health.
